WHY: 

The Ronald McDonald House of Fort Worth is receiving $53,667 for sales of the 2009 Southern Living Christmas Cookbook, which sold for $10 each.  Sales are comprised from Ridgmar, Hulen, The Parks, Northeast Mall and Hurst stores. 

The Northeast Mall Dillard’s had the 7th highest cookbook sales in the United States.  Sales more than doubled for this region from 2008, when the contribution was $20,000 – enabling Dillard’s to offer more than $33,000 additional support for this year!

Nationally, Dillard’s, Inc. is donating more than $1.4 million to local organizations of Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC). This donation was made possible through the 2009 sale of Dillard’s exclusive Southern Living Christmas Cookbook.  The exclusive, 288 page hardbound cookbook boasted over 400delicious recipes, plus menus and hundreds of inspiring photos. Profits from the sales benefit local Ronald McDonald Houses in Dillard’s markets.  To date, Dillard’s has donated over $5.9 million to Ronald McDonald Houses over the years.
